After the price increase for LCQ with less prizing, it can feel like the straw that broke the camels back for some people.

Really disappointed at so many people who feel like they need to dunk on cEDH or Sam for these tweets.
The nastiness around "my way of engaging with Magic is right and yours is wrong" is feeling more and more pervasive. Very grateful I'm no longer a creator in this space.

The specific situation where games regularly can’t end is not a necessary function of the format, it is because Rhystic is legal. Again, this is not to say that the problems with cEDH don’t exist, I get it, I don’t need to hear about it in the replies, but Rhystic is a PROBLEM.

@DaveS_Lorcana Not a perfect one to one but Bandai LCQs are basically just another regional with an opportunity for the national event. And because it is a regional it has regional prizing. I think RB gutting prizing is a bad look. And there’s no way around that.

Im not going to defend the LCQ downgrade. BUT it's not supposed to be good. It's a Hail Mary that goes unanswered for the majority of players. It's design is to send most people to the parks. Could/should it be better? IDK but I thought S1 LCQs were generous.
