#ADY Chairman Rovshan Rustamov visited #Turkmenbashi International Sea Port and was briefed on the port’s technical capabilities and transit potential. Discussions also covered the synchronized development of Turkmenbashi Port and ADY’s Baku International Sea Port, as well as opportunities to expand the #CaspianBlackSea connection.

🇦🇿 Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of #ADY, a company within AZCON Holding, met with the Minister of Railway Transport of 🇹🇲Turkmen. & the heads of #railway administrations of 🇺🇿Uzb. and 🇬🇪Geo. 🛤️ They reviewed possible joint moves for expanding cooperation along #MiddleCorridor, digitalizing operations & enhancing route’s competitiveness. 🤝 A protocol summarizing outcomes of discussions was signed.

🇦🇿🇬🇪 Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of ADY, one of the companies of @AzconHolding, met with his Georgian counterpart, Lasha Abashidze. 🚆📊 During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the level of cooperation between the two countries in the railway sector. The parties discussed increasing freight volumes, optimizing tariffs and delivery times, and the ongoing work on the development of the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars railway line.

🤝🚢 Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of ADY, one of the companies of @AzconHolding held meetings with the management of PACE Group, the leading logistics company of Georgia responsible for terminal operations at the Port of Poti, and with the management of the Batumi Sea Port. 🌍📦 During the meetings, the importance of expanding cooperation between the logistics companies and seaports of the two countries was emphasized. ⚓️ The ADY delegation also became acquainted with the operations of the ports.

🇦🇿🇬🇪 A launch ceremony for the Poti–Baku express block train took place at the Port of Poti, Georgia, with the participation of the management of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC and “Georgian Railways” JSC. This service allows cargo owners to save time while also cutting costs for terminal storage of cargo and empty containers.

🤝🚆 In Tbilisi, agreements were signed to ensure the full launch of operations of the joint venture on the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars (BTK) railway line. 🛤️ The new agreements provide for the use of the Marabda–Akhalkalaki railway infrastructure and the provision of terminal services at the Akhalkalaki station.

Azerbaijan and Türkiye sign a new agreement to enhance #RailwayCooperation. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY), a member company of AZCON Holding, and Turkish State Railways (TCDD). The memorandum, signed by Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of #ADY, and Veysi Kurt, Director General and Chair of the Board of #TCDD, aims to strengthen cooperation in the #RailwaySector. The cooperation will cover #InfrastructureDevelopment, #TrafficManagement, innovative joint solutions, #StaffTraining, and #InformationExchange.

They also exchanged views on the World Bank’s participation in the second phase of the #BakuInternationalSeaPort, its technical support for ongoing works, and potential #InvestmentOpportunities.
