@Black_Chalk19 I wrote this while on a car trip today. It might make it into my Roathe fanfic someday, though. This was just one of those rough ideas/drafts that suddenly appeared while I was staring out the window, and I had to write it down because I think it has potential.

Was carpooling back from a weekend adventure, and during the 5-hour drive, I found myself daydreaming. And Roathe, it turns out... holds grudges.

@singletrgtdoton @roatheseks yeah! it saves on a lot of major manual adjustments. Like if I know the pose I want requires a seated position, make them sit first, then start making adjustments. Same thing with lying down, etc.

@singletrgtdoton @roatheseks For example, when I was testing out poses, this is the quick pose blend I made. Base was the kneel pose, and then the blend was the smirk expression. I was also able to do the same on the player character.

@AzemLavellan @roatheseks Okay. I've only tested this in Brio and not Anamnesis. I can only get Solus Emet to use vanilla emotes if he replaces my player character (so not Brio 2/3). Good workaround
I can't get the files I linked to work but I CAN save the vanilla pose and load it back in as expression

@singletrgtdoton @roatheseks It might be because I am using a body mod though? And not his broke back vanilla body. lol.

@singletrgtdoton @roatheseks The Emet model I am using has a body mod applied to him. I don't remember which one, but it's a common one. I am not sure what the expression mods require because the download page does not specify any dependencies.

@singletrgtdoton @roatheseks I was able to apply vanilla emotes to Emet, but the modded emotes weren't working.

I'm confused why I can't even apply emotes to Solus NPC any more... lemme investigate

Hopped on to help a friend with using Brio. Ended up gooning over the quick pose I made to demonstrate how to use and blend emotes. He is just so beautiful. And so is my WoL. Honestly, I am in love with them both.

@singletrgtdoton @roatheseks You can also use brio or whatever else like it to have them do a normal facial emote like "smirk" then you can pause to hold the expression. That is usually what I do.

@roatheseks yeah even after half a decade of gposing I too cannot do faces for shit. my recommendation is using ingame emotes. for emet(hades), emet(solus) and hyth specifically there’s expression packs on XMA that’re vanilla and adjusted for their faces specifically
