@Ki11ersix @realancientrune this is about as much as i could fit into a reply, but legit what the fuck is going on here, im just walking around, the boss posses no real threat. the mobbs pose no real threat, if i was in any raid in bl2 doing this with 20 mobs all attacking ide be down and blead by now.

How often do you worry about the elemental damage u are doing in bl4? (eg thinking about trying to use an element an enemy is weak to)

I think it would be a cool idea to have the slaughter map give specific gear per cannon shot. One would be class mods, one ordnance, one enhancements, one shields, and then the final one would be a mix with your one legendary. What do you guys think?

A few people have asked me why they are getting the shiny Mercredi from the newest Bounty Pack. I can confirm that the shiny itempool for the Hard Dark is using the Mercredi's shiny instead of the actual shiny expected.

@III_Gunther_III @lil_gasmask @Ki11ersix I meannnnn have you tried farming for a godroll in bl4? Sure you don’t need a godroll like any other game but still there are 6 weapons that have less than 1% drop rate, bl2 had like 2.

@Ki11ersix Time≠challenge. No item in BL4 is a challenge to farm. The combat in BL4 lacks layers of depth to challenge the player. There is lack of designed areas for true skill expression. There’s a lack of ways to fundamentally play the game better. The gameplay is too simplified

The new BL4 stuff is good but still isn’t great. It feels as good as it possibly can be in BL4. It’s limited by the design choices of the game. The combat doesn’t challenge endgame builds in meaningful ways. Plat time at M20 is restrictive but not hard if that makes sense

LazyData is so freaking good at what he does but it pisses me off so much that we can just poop on A RAID BOSS with 124x HEALTH like this. rmember in bl2 where a couple raid bosses had the glitch 2x health and we all just couldnt handle it? XD

Has anyone gotten any shinys from the new takedown? I’ve had a few runs where I’ve gotten multiple of the same gun but no phosphene drops so far. I don’t think I’ve seen any posted either, are they bugged?

@III_Gunther_III Yes bl2 had the most longevity without a doubt but its not because of added difficulty (it’s replayabilty). The community hit a wall after op 8, theres a reason why half the community dipped to bl3 ànd other games.

@AzerbaijaniPapi You can do both though. BL2 had MASSIVE casual appeal. Having a good balance of normal mode into truly harder difficulties creates such a better long standing experience. BL2 has the most longevity in the series for a reason.

BL1, TPS, Wonderlands, BL3 ànd now BL4 never had “combat depth” because difficulty doesnt sell well in a looter shooters, theres a reason why a portion of players avoided op levels. MFers just wanna have fun.

@lil_gasmask @APisthagoat You need to re try tps’ endgame because you’re as much as à demigod as you are in the newer games

@APisthagoat Endgame in bl2 and TPS had far more depth in combat, I use all 4 weapon slots in those games, but in bl4 most builds feel like hold down trigger and just spam everything as soon as the cooldown is over. No thinking needed

So I really like the new takedown, but the mayhem scaling really magnifies the balance issue the game has. It all feels purely like a gear/build check and the endgame difficulty still feels like it lacks combat depth. Just feels like everything is just spamming all your buttons.

@Ki11ersix No worries, it be like that. Rafa is more versatile in bossing than people give him credit. Sure he can’t use most of the guns that Harlowe or cash can use but by no means is it necessary for him to get crazy buffs. Harlowes blue tree is more in need rn.

So the only way to play Rafa right now is to abuse underbarrels, abuse CoV to make exactly one weapon do damage or abuse Groundbreaker to stab things when it actually targets the thing you aim at? Meanwhile C4SH... Awesome

@Ki11ersix I killed sub ànd thol multiple times using the crow. Combining vitriol, first impression and soltado is really strong
