@ebielemisam @3rdking2 @Joe_brendan_ He's a big liar for spreading false information! Bayelsa State Government has banned communities from collecting development levies/obstruction of building projects.

Let me tell you why places like this cannot be developed even if you have the money to do so - The villagers and community leaders will not let you - The villagers and community leaders will drain you and threaten to attack your business every week - The villagers and community leaders will use your business as salary - You will get robbed every week - There are no roads in and out that are good In summary The Lagos coastline is what it is today because for some reasons, they welcome people and leave them there to do business You will never see that in any south south state. I am from a coastline village. BUA is trying to build a refinery in my place, but the villagers have frustrated the hell out of him that he shut down the project many times and was to leave Dangote built a refinery in Lagos and the process was smooth Other parts of Nigeria need to look inwards. Most investments and growth goes to Lagos because it is conducive

When I was residing in Abuja, I dreamed of capturing and showcasing Nigeria’s idyllic coastal clime, especially my home state, Bayelsa. Today, I am happy, fulfilled to have reached that dream. This is Brass Island.

There are more Abians living in Bayelsa than Bayelsans living in Abia. The ratio will be like 15:1. There is nothing in Abia state that is fascinating to an average Bayelsan. You all claim your places are doing better than others yet you can't stay in your place. Someone in the replies said he is staying in Bayelsa because of his job, then I asked, are there no jobs in Abia State? When they come for Youth Service, they refuse to go back to their London. Their women settle as second and third wives here just because they need job in our civil service. If no be Yahoo or prostitution, some of una youths no go see food chop for that una London. As long as Nigeria is concerned, we are all screwed. Any other thing is I better pass my neighbor mentality.

The Degema Tribe The degema (Atala) is one of the edo speaking tribe located in present-day rivers state, Nigeria. Linguistically, the degema people alongside the egenni tribe belong to the proto-delta edoid language tree and were acknowledged in Amuary Talbot - The People of Southern Nigeria, Vol. IV, p. 33, as the edo speakers in the the rivers province,ca.1928. Dr. Hans Wolff, of the University of Puerto Rico, who carried linguistical study in Nigeria,ca.1953-54, confirmed that the edo dialect is still spoken in degema and it surrounding communities The migration of the Degema people The Udekaama tribe otherwise known as Degema, traces it migration from Benin capital during the Benin golden age to Ewu, an area in Ahaoda L.G.A. Ancient story recounts how the people split following a dispute over fish cooking. One group broke away and became known as the Udekaama. In the 15th century, they settled on Degema Island, which had previously been uninhabited. They established themselves in two main, closely related communities on Degema Island →Usokun-Degema and Degema Town (Atala) within the Niger Delta. They live in an area of swamps, mangroves, and tropical rainforests. The degema tribe still maintains their edo language, which has influences from the neighboring kalabari tribe. 📸; The traditional ruler and elders of degema acknowledging their roots, as the king of degema vacated his throne for the portrait of the Oba of benin as a sign of reverence and acknowledgement of their edo root.

Bayelsa is never a good place to stay Nobody can stay in Bayelsa if they had other options Go and do ur findings
David Green@97Davidgreen

@SisiEko_ofPh And secondly why are you saying a prayer for us? I’ve lived in rivers and bayelsa and I can tell you there’s no big difference in living conditions. Rivers is a little bigger than bayelsa and obviously more developed but bayelsa is also a good place to stay if you want calm life

This is an Andoni man's food combination, and it's not different from my Delta Ijaw food combination. I've traveled far and wide Nigeria, and I've not seen a tribe that combines boiled yam/coco yam/plantain with eba and soup. See how rich the fulo is?
Andoni man in PH City💎@NgohPrince

Today I and @FlyestTim_10 ate soup morning, afternoon and night. As an ijaw man anything i eat aside from Garri and soup is just like a snack to me and I'll be hungry again within an hour or two.

@kmbiamnozie At this rate, I'll advise that you relocate to Iran. Go there and enjoy the Ayatollah regime that you have spent so much energy protecting. You may hate Donald Trump for all i care, Iran must never have a nuclear weapon....PERIOD!

There is a reason why every Military Assessment advised every President that the best route for Iran is diplomacy. You must study, understand, and respect the soil in which your enemies move. You can unleash airstrikes, missiles, and bombs, the full majesty of technological superiority as the USA and Isreal has done, and for a time, you will impress. You will destroy cities, infrastructure, and morale. You will leave smoke where there was life. But try to touch the ground, try to occupy and you will be humiliated. Every step, every inch, every life you thought controlled will slip through your fingers. Because you are not merely fighting men or armies. You are fighting an ideology. One that loves death as passionately as you love life. One that sees sacrifice as triumph. One that welcomes the end you so desperately fear. And here’s the rub: your power, your machinery, your wealth, they are irrelevant on this battlefield. The rules are different. The currency is conviction. The victor is often the one who refuses to surrender to your logic. So ask yourself before you march in: do you know the enemy? Or are you just another arrogant intruder, measuring strength with the wrong yardstick and destined to be humbled by a philosophy you refuse to understand?

@LaelOgori I don’t genuinely think that’s how it is though. This is just speculation from people whom haven’t done proper funded research/interactions with said people. This is rather very far from the truth and you of all people know a few things about stereotypes and their effects.
