Am I taking crazy pills? The Sun Belt is better off with Texas State than without Texas state. That doesn’t mean Texas state has done well over their time overall in the Sun Belt, but there’s been a nice trajectory for that school recently. Am I missing something?

Heres how Id rank the G6 Football conferences for next year: 1. The American - clear and undisputed number 1 heading into the season. Been the best g6 for a few years now, someone will have to take the crown from it, no crown is given, they are always taken. Top programs invest at a high level. 2. PAC 12 - lots of upside 3. Mountain West - Top of the Mountain West is really strong heading into next year, the bottom, not so much 4. Sun Belt - Few really solid teams, losing Texas State doesnt help, JMU the highlight for sure 5. CUSA - Probably underrated tbh, some severely underlooked programs 6. MAC - Conference seems like its in trouble, some solid programs, but im not sure the MAC is healthy with some teams seemingly gearing up to leave. I think conference depth is pretty overrated. Look at the big 10, your top teams are what define you. I think basically every G6 conference is underrated in some way. Nearly 70 yeams competing for 1 spot in the CFP next year, should be a fun time. Not sure I expect to rate the conferences like this after next year, we shall see! #LETSRUN

So frustrating. USU proved they are better than UNLV and San Diego State. I guess we need a deep tournament run to get into an MTE like this.
