having read few of the comments we can conclude 5 things - before pitching out to projects you must have a very high end skill that's in demand (e.g copywriting, ai agency, ghostwriting e.t.c) - pitching out to projects can either be beneficial : you get to know better how the system works and can get referrals from that source - OR it can be detrimental: you reach out to them, they agree to employ you BUT they set their fixed pay and conditions that's below your regular pay. Depending on whatever situation you are at moment you might be forced to accept not putting into consideration the % of effort you'll put in and % of reward that'll rewarded to you - if you can't pitch, your circle of friends has to save you - you fly solo (mission impossible)
