Designer Junkie is Sk8star’s introduction to the mainstream. This album proves his worth to the masses while still appealing to the older crowd who may have drifted away from underground music. That being said, the project still delivers those heavy hitters underground fans like myself love most, with my favorite tracks being “Beret,” “NSD,” “PlayYaPart,” and “Roxy Paparazzi.” I’m extremely excited to see what Sk8 brings for the rest of 2026 and can’t wait to see him perform the album at our show tomorrow in NY.
