📼 MY FATHER’S LAST MESSAGE: DEVLOG #4 📼 The main menu is like the face of the visual novel. You see it every time you boot it up. I've got two versions of the same main menu image, I'd like to know whether you like the drawn blocky TV or the stock image one. I've also included a look at the background for the game menu when you're looking at the preferences or choosing a load file. The TV part is obvious, but if you want to know what's up with the fish motif... you'll have to wait and see. I've found some great music as placeholders, but they are copyrighted. Ultimately, I might strike a balance between the two, opting for commissions if I really can't find anything or feel like it requires a special feel. It might be the font, shade of yellow, the outline thickness, or the textbox behind it. Let me know what you think, I'll continue playing around with the idea, unless I fully decide on whether or not it works. I've also been working on making the list of sprites that I will needed for the whole story.
