For the third consecutive year, the occupying entity has prevented live sacrificial animals from entering the Gaza Strip. Therefore, our organization, Azzam Relief Foundation, in cooperation with long-established charitable organizations, has contracted slaughterhouses and companies with extensive experience in processing and canning fresh meat. We will carry out the sacrifice on behalf of those who wish to dedicate their udhiyah to their families in Gaza during Eid al-Adha and the Days of Tashreeq, then prepare and can the fresh pure meat and send it to our people in steadfast Gaza. Most of the people in the Strip do not taste meat except for what reaches them once a year through the udhiyah meat sent by their brothers and sisters. Even what enters only relieves the hunger of a small number of them. I ask Allah not to hold us accountable for our shortcomings and abandonment. Most of us eat meat throughout the year, and gifting our udhiyah to our people in steadfast Gaza will not harm us nor change our way of life in any way, yet for them it makes an immense difference.
