Scrubbing through hours of VODs is a tought move - and will drive you to burnout. The biggest difficulty in content creation is the clipping process. You need to treat your stream as a content farm. How can you find, optimize, and post the best moments from your streams without getting lost on the process? ――――― ➽ Look for high-emotion peaks. Pure rage, uncontrollable laughter, jumpscares, or genuine confusion. The algorithms push extreme, authentic reactions because they stop the scroll. ➽ Focus on the "No-Context" rule. If a viewer needs 10 minutes of lore to understand why the clip is funny, it will flop. Good clips must hook the audience and make sense within the first 3 seconds. ➽ Clip your chat interactions. People will love seeing you geting roasted by your own chat or accidentally exposing themselves. It builds a parasocial connection and shows off your unique dynamic. ――――― ➽ Never scrub through a full VOD. If you are doing this, you are wasting valuable time that should be spent on actual creation and strategy. ➽ Set up a Stream Marker button. ✿ YouTube Hashtag Strategy Specifically ✿ For YouTube Shorts, I put two hashtags directly in the title. Something enticing but not clickbait-y, with two relevant tags attached. For example: "This is the WORST case scenario!! #GamingFail #Shorts" The rest of your hashtags go in the description. I'd say no more than two to three in the title total, which is backed up by programs such as VidIQ and it's what I've seen perform best personally. Between this and using a tiered hashtags strategy, I've gotten over 600K views in the last month on YouTube alone, not counting growth across other platforms. So yeah, it works! :3

I saw some questions going around about YouTube shorts and wanted to provide some of my own insight with my own experience as a VTuber! 💜 I'm not an expert at the algorithm or anything, but I think I've managed to figure out how to keep pretty consistent views. I've placed a comparison between my most popular shorts and my latest shorts side by side for reference! • Don’t put tags in your title! Biggest mistake I’ve made, this made a HUGE difference for me! Put them in your description! 3-5 hashtags seems to be the sweet spot. Make sure your title is related to the content of the video and appears interesting enough to click on! (Ignore the tags I put in the title of my most popular video, that was posted back when the algorithm preferred them there!) • Write a short summary describing the clip in the description! This is also a great place to put keywords since the algorithm ALSO uses the description to direct others to your shorts! • Putting a title somewhere in your video to use as a thumbnail really helps so that people can read the title from the thumbnail to know what the short is about! Write something catchy to grab people’s attention! • Make the first few seconds count! You have to consider how quickly people scroll through shorts and you don't want them to scroll past yours! Think about what you could do or how you could edit your short to make them want to stay and watch the rest of it! • Upload times and days typically don't really matter too much as long as you're staying consistent with your posts. I post my shorts on YouTube 3 days a week and don't schedule them, so the exact times I post them are typically between 4-6pm! Since this is trending, VTuber, please make shorts. A 2.5mil view short about breaking my chin got me monetized on YT overnight. A 120k short got me 20k followers on TT overnight, it was badly edited by myself, and barely 30sec. long. You never know which video is your lucky draw in the content lottery! Make it, make anything, no matter how bad, to throw your hat in the ring.

I need a clips editor so bad for gameplay stuff >.<' I can edit all the cutesy simple videos quickly for daily content but I want to post more game clips in there too but they take me so long to edit and they never look as professional as I'd like and feel like they are the clips that will actually get people to want to watch future streamies idk?
