@JamarVip Jawline was fantastic against Marquette at the Big East Tournament Championship in 2024!!! He was key in the success of UConn when he started and they were 22-1, the injury messed him up. He was an amazing player, teammate, and fan favorite. This decision makes me upset.

I just wanted to say thank you guys. I’m over here crying while I’m texting this that was the hardest decision for Jaylin to make!! it definitely was not about the money. He just wants to play basketball. I’ll ALWAYS be rooting for UCONN! Yall made my guy feel special and loved! But it comes a point in your life where you have to think about yourself and the next chapter … I have met so many incredible people in three years 😥 I wish yall the best! @JamarVip Let me explain. J-Stew will always be loved. He is one of my faves. But, the transfer portal of all these UConn players makes no sense to me. From Championship game to transferring. It makes me shake my head. Jaylin, good luck wherever you chose. Just my opinion on this.
