This newly created post will have a pivotal role, leading a dynamic and growing membership organisation. At BABICM, we are committed to promoting best practice, providing high-quality professional development opportunities, advocating for our members and contributing to the research evidence base. Our new CEO will play a crucial role in advancing our mission, driving our strategic plans forward, creating strategic alliances and ensuring sustainability for the organisation. BABICM is seeking a natural and effective leader. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to relate to a diverse range of stakeholders and an appreciation of the role of a membership organisation. This remote role will require some travel and will attract a salary of £65K WTE, it will ideally be part-time 4 days a week. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of case management. Exciting Research Announcement! We are thrilled to announce that a groundbreaking piece of original research, devised and carried out by the BABICM Research Evidence and Publication Group, has been published in the prestigious Journal of Long-Term Health Care. This significant work, authored by Alyson Norman Mark Holloway, Jackie Dean, Andrew Patterson, Ben Needham-Holmes Philippa Feltham-White, Jo Clark-Wilson ,Valentina Curro and Craig Andrews is now available as an open-source publication. This research has already made a tangible impact, supporting clients in the recruitment and retention of support workers and being cited in legal proceedings. It effectively bridges on-the-ground evidence with real-life practice, showcasing the practical applications of our findings. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the unprecedented number of members who participated and responded swiftly to our surveys. Your involvement was crucial, and as a community, we made this happen!
