Tanvir Alam shared a striking talk on NHS workforce challenges and opportunities. Strong data on the 10-Year Plan and IMG pressures set the scene, but Sujorita’s story stood out. Her FOI to the GMC exposed key issues, including 79% unemployment and rising PLAB doctors.

Tanvir Alam’s update from our conference: The MWRES “5 Years On” review shows that despite a more diverse NHS, international graduates and ethnic minority staff still face big gaps in progression, opportunity, and workplace experience. A sobering reminder.
