We created student teacher stipends to help aspiring educators stay afloat while they complete mandatory training. The student teachers I’ve talked to — including the ones at Farmersville Elementary today — can speak to the difference that it’s made in their lives. My budget doubles the investment in these stipends, providing more funding to cover even more student teachers and help them make a difference in the classroom.

It’s always a good day when I get the chance to get back into a classroom to teach a lesson. I had the opportunity to teach a fifth grade reading group about generating questions about text. @BethlehemAreaSD
