🦊 NEW APPOINTMENT 🦊DEVELOPMENT TEAM HEAD COACH We’re delighted to officially welcome Melvin Jules to Northumberland Heath FC as our new Development Team Head Coach for the 2026/27 season. Following last season’s promotion, this was a hugely important appointment for the club. We wanted someone who shares our vision, believes in developing players, and understands the standards required to prepare them for First Team football. Melvin brings passion, experience and a genuine commitment to helping players improve every single week. His focus goes far beyond winning matches, it’s about creating an environment where players develop, earn opportunities, and are ready to step into the First Team when called upon. The Development Team is a vital part of our pathway, and we’re excited to see Melvin build on the excellent foundations already in place while strengthening the connection between our senior squad and the youth development pathway. After our AGM there seems to be some confusion about under 18s playing with over 18s I will try to clear this up now. That rule is for mixed sex teams. As we are a men's league it does not apply to us. All players must be 16+ but please make sure safeguarding practice is followed

As a league we stay impartial. However after careful consideration it has been decided that no teams managed by Thomas Touchel will be permitted to enter the BASLFL.

Oh well that's that for another couple of years. Bring on the 5th of September when the real football starts 😉 😆
