It's understabdable why Nasir El Rufai hallucinates about Nuhu Ribadu....why? 1) He and Nuhu used to be the favoured young Turks from the North with solid public service track record under OBJ, and one of them tipped to be a future president. But right now he has lost that shine and knows Nuhu Ribadu has become the person of the moment with brighter chances by 2031 2) Both of them moved temporarily to USA during Yar Adua regime in 2008/2009 after their tenor. First because they stepped on big toes while delivering performance under OBJ, so under Yar Adua those they hit, were coming for them so they went on temporary exile. While Nasir proceeded to Harvard, Nuhu spent time going all over US ( on special invitation) including Ivy League schools delivery speeches on good governance, fighting corruption in Africa/ Nigeria etc. That was the period i was in graduate school at MIT Sloan, so i met them at different events. 3) While both were in USA, they were specially recognised and respected by USA govt...so they both built their global standing. UNFORTUNATELY...Nasir returned to Nigeria...and somehow started getting radicalised as a muslim after joining CPC and becoming close to the islamic fundamentalists in CPC... While Nuhu remained moderate and cosmopolitan It is not surprising that Nuhu after appointment as NSA to President Tinubu and in his usual precision and dexterity in public service, he has shot once again to global lime light. Someone should Nasir El Rufai, to stop crying. No be Nuhu Ribadu do am 😍😍😍 he lost it all when he dropped his moderate muslim and cosmopolitan staure to become a fundamentalist....at a time the World is already wary of his type.
