This year’s theme, “Hand in Hand for a Better Food Future,” reminds us that collaboration and shared purpose are vital to building a sustainable food system for all. At the Eko Farm Fair, we brought together farmers, stakeholders, and consumers to celebrate agriculture and strengthen the connection between farm and table. It was a day of learning, connection, and appreciation for those who feed our nation. This week, we are spotlighting Daniel Akogwu, first place winner of the Farmers for the Future program cohort 6 and Founder of @aretecom1 Ltd. Through Aretecom, Daniel drives crop production, food processing, and commodity trading across multiple states, working to improve food quality and strengthen supply chains in Northern Nigeria. His business is focused on building reliable systems that move food efficiently from farm to market while creating sustainable value at every stage. By strengthening production, improving processing standards, and facilitating commodity trade, Aretecom continues to play an important role in advancing agribusiness growth and supporting food security across the region.
