@lelowhatsgood It’s a subscription trap. If the algorithm doesn’t bless a film, people assume it’s not worth watching. We’ve traded film culture for scroll culture. Those who truly love cinema go looking. The rest are spoonfed by the algorithm like puréed content on a tiny digital spoon.

@lelowhatsgood Valid Q, but reality is marketing is the 1st casualty of funding. If a film costs R10M to make, u need 2M+ to be "visible." Most indies are lucky to have R200k. World-class film on survival-mode budgets leave zero for billboards or spots. The invisibility is a capital gap.
