@BAYC5511 @beffjezos Assimilation means learning the language and respecting the societal foundation that has been created by the hosts and becoming a part of it, not carving out a slice of your own. I know the utopian idea is nice but far from reality if you get out of your bubble.

And you think because minorities want to live close together in a new country they arent assimilating? Thats literally what happens in every country, why do you think 'chinatown' exists in every big city? That has nothing to do with assimilation, those immigrants are living the exact same life as every other canadian. This is not to mention there were laws and restrictions so a lot of immigrants ending up in the same area was by design.

@BAYC5511 @beffjezos I moved to Mississauga for high school in '99. Before any influence of left or right i could see the segregation based on cultural differences. Think the viets chilled with Sri Lankan people? My viet friend wasnt aloud to have white friends. This is reality not a rainbow book

@BAYC5511 @beffjezos Only one race but different cultures can be like oil and water. To deny this is to deny the distinct cultural histories of every nation. Different cultures have made different contributions to humanity. We are all unique in our our cultural backgrounds and accomplishments.

@BlackLabelAdvsr Builders being cheap af, bullding two homes on a lot sized for one. Also these McMansions are built cheaply as possible, almost all of them run into foundation issues which cause cracks all over the inside of the houses.
