Created by a Moscow DJ, the tune has taken off among zoomers, with critics linking its appeal to a revival of 90s/early 2000s techno. The irony is that most listeners likely have no idea who @yanisvaroufakis is, they just like the rhythm of the name.

Had a pang of sadness last night seeing John Edwards play at OTO, realising I won't see him anymore on an almost weekly basis now i've moved from London. Probably the musician i've seen play most in my life, and without doubt one of the most remarkable musicians alive today.

I've said this a lot before, but when I was growing up there was gig promoter in Glasgow called Nuts & Seeds who did this and it basically got me into DIY culture (and by default marxism etc too) as a result.
