Acute toxicity of methyl methacrylate, LD50, is 7–10 g/kg They have 34,000 gallons of the stuff in a runaway chemical reaction. The evacuation range is 1 mile. There are homes within 100 meters of ground zero.

Who wouldn't want to live in a place called "Garden Grove"? Sounds idyllic, right? Perfect location to buy a home and raise a family

Members of DNI Tulsi Gabbard’s Director’s Initiatives Group have been subjected to extensive internal monitoring and the CIA is tracking “every keystroke” on their government computers and devices, according to journalist Catherine Herridge. CIA denied DNI Gabbard’s investigators access to key analysts and officials still working in the CIA building, as well as relevant, highly classified intelligence held in compartmented programs. The monitoring is reportedly tied to internal intelligence community concerns over security, access to classified information, and the activities of Tulsi Gabbard’s Director’s Initiatives Group.

Andy Burnham has NEVER done a proper day’s work in his entire life. Cambridge posh boy → straight from uni into researcher gigs, spad, union pen-pusher, Football Task Force pencil-pusher… then parachuted into a safe seat at 31. A lifetime on the taxpayer-funded political gravy train: MP, Cabinet Minister, Mayor. Zero real jobs. Zero trades. Zero private sector graft. Just endless Westminster/Labour insider games. He’s a charlatan and is using Makerfield, like a one-night-stand! Makerfield rejects this out-of-touch careerist.

@julianHjessop **grammar nazi mode on** Why is 'spending' using the plural 'were'? 'Revenues', too. But borrowing is singular? My CSE English qualification says that if it has one number it is a collective noun and one thing **grammar nazi mode off**

A bad start to the FY for the public finances: the UK government borrowed £4.9bn (or 25%) more in April than in the same month a year ago. Spending were up £7.6bn, revenues up just £2.7bn. (Remember borrowing only fell last year because of a large increase in the tax burden...)

Which is odd, because he is standing for election to represent the people of Makerfield, not for President of Britain Unless we have a general election he has no moral or political authority to change anything. Prime Minister is not the same job as City Mayor.
Bloomberg@business

Andy Burnham, the would-be successor to Keir Starmer as prime minister, pledged to change Britain’s economy as he launched a special election campaign that could clear his path to 10 Downing Street bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

They cancelled the Royal International Air Tattoo because Trump won't let the RAF use RAF Fairford, America's only heavy bomber airfield in Europe But remember, Keir Starmer is standing up to Trump and not getting dragged into the Iran cluster fuck

So WASPI women get a few quid in state pensions for a few years, then hit by hyper inflation wiping out the value of private pension savings permanently. I'm surprised the Tories didn't do this already TBH. Our economy already is toast. It just lacks jam to make it go down better
Neil O'Brien@NeilDotObrien

On the day government debt interest payments hit a record high, Burnham is casually dropping a £10 billion new spending commitment before lunch. Our economy is gonna be toast.

@laurnorman We don't take part in international football to **win**. We take part to create an excuse to **mock**. Only 11 men can win. A whole nation can mock. And anyway, if we wanted to win we'd send Andy Burnham.
