"Whether overstated by its own officials or underacknowledged by Delhi and Islamabad, experts believe the US's role as crisis manager remains as vital - and as complicated - as ever," write @soutikBBC and @BBCVikas bbc.com/news/articles/…

Having seen the crowd crush at Kumbh with my own eyes, I just want to request people to follow a few things. 1. Avoid crowded days if you can - the area is full until 4 Feb. 2. Follow instructions given by officials 3. Avoid going to Sangam and take a dip at the nearest ghat

Tonight, Delhi NCR air smells like cigarette smoke and burning coal. Even our air purifiers can’t keep up. This isn’t just pollution - it’s a slow, suffocating death.☠️

Headline : The mess at Delhi airport with a sleeping @DGCAIndia and @JM_Scindia Delhi airport has 4 runways, guess how many are operational ? One. Yes. And guess what, the operational runway does not have CAT 3, so cannot operate in fog. No flights took off for 5 hours. Why?1/4

@airvistara Please understand - you can let people out and board again. That’s totally your decision but you are choosing not to do that.

Fog disrupts flights, but what’s happening at @DelhiAirport is shocking. Been here since 10am and sitting in an @airvistara flight for two hours on tarmac with old parents and child - crew helpless - they have no update. Not letting us leave plane either. @DGCAIndia @JM_Scindia

@airvistara You can’t force us to be in the plane - people are getting breathless, including elderly and babies. It’s been more than 2 hours. Letting people out of the plane is in your control. Not boarding people until you know about the backlog is in your control. You don’t care. UK555

Since 2009, Indian and US teams have scoured the mountains of Arunachal Pradesh, looking for the wreckage and remains of lost crews of hundreds of WW2 planes that crashed here over 80 years ago. The remains now have a home in a new museum. My piece. bbc.com/news/world-asi…
