Elliot freedman on the Brady Tkachuk trade rumours: I heard that when he came back from the Olympics, he requested to have the team goal song changed to Free Bird, the Team USA song. Management immediately shut that down, but Brady kept asking for many weeks. They didn’t like that especially given the politicization of the events that followed. They’ve had these internal trade discussions for longer than people think
