The Boynton Beach Utility Department is working to repair a ruptured underground water main in Quail Ridge. The south, eastbound lane has been closed while they work. The closure begins east of Lawrence Rd. on Boynton Beach Blvd, and it ends at Quail Covey Rd. Please use caution.

#BBFR crews and Dive Team responded to reports of a boat on fire in the E4 Canal in our Leisureville community this morning. Once on scene, our firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries. Great job to all who assisted!

Around 2 a.m., a broken water main began flooding the road at Boynton Beach Blvd. and Lawrence Road. A truck driver was uninjured when he drove into the area and became stuck. It has since been removed, and workers are in the process of fixing issue. Drivers, avoid the area.

#BBFRD firefighters quickly extinguished a car fire Monday on Interstate 95. No one was injured. The crash happened in the southbound lanes just north of Atlantic Avenue before 7 a.m. The a-shift crew used a circular saw to cut the vehicle’s hood to check for fire in the engine.
