The community is invited to join the #BoyntonBeach Fire Rescue Department as they "Push-In" the new custom built Sutphen SL75 Engine apparatus at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Fire Station #4 (1919 S. Federal Hwy.)

The breakfast will be Valentine’s Day themed. All proceeds will benefit two firefighters currently experiencing medical challenges. Cost: $10 Adults, $5 Kids (ages 4 -12) and kids under 3 are free. Learn more at BoyntonBeachFirefighters.com.

The Boynton Beach Firefighters Benevolent Association will host an all you can eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, February 2 at Boynton Beach Fire Station #3 (3501 N. Congress Ave.)

The Boynton Beach Utility Department is working to repair a ruptured underground water main in Quail Ridge. The south, eastbound lane has been closed while they work. The closure begins east of Lawrence Rd. on Boynton Beach Blvd, and it ends at Quail Covey Rd. Please use caution.

#BBFR crews and Dive Team responded to reports of a boat on fire in the E4 Canal in our Leisureville community this morning. Once on scene, our firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries. Great job to all who assisted!

ATTENTION DRIVERS: A ruptured water main has caused a closure of all lanes of traffic at Boynton Beach Blvd. and Lawrence Rd. in Boynton Beach. Drivers should avoid the area until further notice. The 16-inch main was broken around 2 a.m.

Drivers should avoid Boynton Beach Boulevard and Lawrence Road in Boynton Beach until further notice as workers attempt to repair a ruptured water main. Both roads are closed to traffic in all directions.

Around 2 a.m., a broken water main began flooding the road at Boynton Beach Blvd. and Lawrence Road. A truck driver was uninjured when he drove into the area and became stuck. It has since been removed, and workers are in the process of fixing issue. Drivers, avoid the area.

#BBFRD firefighters quickly extinguished a car fire Monday on Interstate 95. No one was injured. The crash happened in the southbound lanes just north of Atlantic Avenue before 7 a.m. The a-shift crew used a circular saw to cut the vehicle’s hood to check for fire in the engine.

Happy Giving Tuesday! This week, a resident went shopping with #BBFRD L103 for children’s toys to be donated to the departments toy drive. The resident purchased $1,000 worth of toys to help make the holidays a little brighter for local families in need. We ❤️ our community.
