Boat owner on Bobs Lake posted last weekend “it’s time to put the f….ing hammer down” when out “for the first rip of the season”. He was wearing his “new go fast goggles”. Three are dead, five injured after the speedboat collided with a fishing boat Saturday. @globalnewsto

My video of the boats as they were towed in. The speedboat was named “Y Wouldn’t Ya!” It is evident the fibreglass boat slammed the fishing boat from behind.

Reporting from South Frontenac, Ont. for Global National and Global Toronto on weekend boating collision that claimed three lives and left five in hospital. Speedboat, rear, appears to have slammed fishing boat. It happened after dark on Saturday night. @globalnewsto
