@benhoobs Its almost as if giving 10 times the funding to SEN pupils out of the shared education funding pot required by law, and then using whatever little is left for non SEN pupils, has left non SEN pupils disadvantaged.

I think it's definitely possible that a laser-focus on educational outcomes for children with protected characteristics for so many years has fuelled a rapidly-emerging catastrophe by overlooking white working-class kids.

@Telegraph And that's not even half of it. But despite that and severe mental health issues, i still search for work, i do volunteer work, because it helps with mental health. The issue is they've nuked the entry level job market and imported more competition for the few places there are.

@ReformDurham Rupert isn't pushing to deport all legal migrants. He's pushing to restrict mass immigration which is happening on a huge scale, and end all illegal immigration. That isn't wrong. it's rightous. Hardworking foriegners are welcome, but in my eyes, it should be at a stable scale.

@ReformDurham I distinctly recall Farage saying it's impossible to deport every illegal. He said it himself. I'm mixed race, the child of a hardworking foreigner, so don't lecture me about foreigners, i know. It makes no difference. If they settle illegally, they leave, no questions.

My little brother was singled out and bullied by his female teachers because he would bounce up and down when he got excited. We used to call him Tigger. He was a single digit age and they would scream at him and insult him for hopping in place in anticipation of recess or something. It was hardly even moving, imagine bouncing your leg up and down when you feel antsy. He did it with both. They took away his recesses. They wouldn't let him go outside. They took him off the soccer team, his greatest joy in the world. They made him feel like a piece of shit. He couldn't help himself and it stressed him out so much he just started having tantrums in the morning and refused to ever go to school again. The teachers held meetings where they determined amongst themselves that they had done nothing wrong. That my little brother, whose crime was that he felt so much excitement that he couldn't contain himself, needed to be medicated. They brought in some experts who agreed and convinced my mom to start giving my brother anti-anxiety medication at like 10 years old. The life faded out of his eyes. He was never been the same. The tantrums never stopped. He never even graduated school. I hate every single one of them.

It wasn’t that long ago millions of young people had some of the best months of their lives stolen from them all to unsuccessfully avoid what was a nasty cold for the overwhelming majority. To suggest youngsters have not sacrificed anything in recent years is offensive guff.
