I'm in total agreement. Fortunately, there is only one team in the UAA that charges so we can watch most of those games free, but lot more games out there. It’s something we couldn't do for many years at the D3 level. Is there a list of free schools or conferences anywhere?

I’m retired. 45 years a coach. I am an alum, former assistant former Head Coach, 100% fan of Springfield College, a member of the NEWMAC. I now have to pay to watch my team. It’s Shameful and infuriating. Maybe the athletes should get a cut of the FloCollege kickback? I paid!

After 28 years, Friday will be my final day at the Post-Dispatch. My time included 15 years covering Saint Louis University, and I plan to continue on a different platform. I’ll post my next steps soon for those interested. It’s been grand.

Fun Weeb Ewbank autograph found packed away in my basement today. Pretty sure Washington University’s legendary basketball coach Mark Edwards (a neighbor/friend) arranged it when Wash U dedicated their new athletic facility back in 1985. Howard Cosell was keynote speaker!

Boys Coach Gene Nolan was inducted into the IBCA HOF this year. He is presently coaching at Naperville North H.S. & also spent 18 years at Chicago Marist. His teams have won 420 games, 7 regional titles & 12 regular season tournaments.
