@MikeKennedyGolf @BadChoiceBurner Yes because Hurley doesn’t fuck around and wants to win it all. A replacement for Solo btw not a 3. Needs another guard
English

@BBallCapital @BadChoiceBurner So you think UConn is going to bring in another guy through the portal to start at the 3? Even though they have Jayden, Nik, and Colb on the team?
Meanwhile there's currently only 1 ball handler and 1 center on the roster. But your focus would be another wing?
English

I don’t think people really grasp just how good Andre was. Ross doesn’t even come close to him on either end of the floor. Athleticism? Maybe the only thing they have in common and it’s still Andre by a lot
Mr. Smith 👑@BadChoiceBurner
My guess is this means JRoss will get to have his Andre Jackson moment next season, sliding into the starting 3 slot. Team will obviously have a completely different makeup now & I believe an off the bench shooter becomes a #UConn portal priority
English

@MikeBajda Yeah different type of athleticism for sure. Also was very smart. Two completely different players that’s why I hate when they get compared lol
English

@BBallCapital Ross is 70% of the athlete Ajx is. He is taller/longer, and he's a much better shooter. But not nearly as twitchy/explosive or as good a passer/ballhandler.
English

@MikeKennedyGolf @BadChoiceBurner Don’t know ball lol wait and see Hurley isn’t stupid he’s going to get a replacement
English

@BadChoiceBurner @BBallCapital It's nice when people start talking like this. Easy to identify non-ballknowers.
Andre was great, but was also borderline unplayable on offense for 2 years.
Jaydens ascension has been remarkable this past season. No signs of slowing down. That's our starting SF.
English

@BadChoiceBurner Better shooter? Yes easily. But that’s not all offense is about. Andre was light years better offensively because he was so good at everything else. His instincts were so good
English

@BBallCapital Ross isn’t anywhere close to the passer that Andre was. Ajax was also a better on ball defender. Ross is a far better shooter though & the idea he can’t start for a title team seems short-sighted
English

@JaXkzed Come on lol he doesn’t at all. Andre saw the floor better than 90% of the country and was an electric passer. Not to mention could set massive screens and knew where to be on the floor to get scoring opportunities around the rim. It’s not all about scoring
English

@BBallCapital It’s more of he fills a similar roll as Andre and I would say he has a slightly better offensively game then Andre did
English

@BadChoiceBurner @tworingsbaldy I’ll die on that hill Ross isn’t very good
English

@tworingsbaldy @BBallCapital He literally said “If Ross starts we aren’t winning a title I’m sorry” - I couldn’t disagree more with that statement. If someone wants to say Landrew will start over Ross? Fine, that’s fair. I disagree, but fair. Nothing lazy about mentioning Andre tho.
English

@BadChoiceBurner Respect, I just think we need to add another starter in my opinion. Love Ross off the bench
English

English

@BadChoiceBurner No it’s not, he’s not a starting caliber player on a championship team. He doesn’t have the offensive ability especially in Hurley’s system. Andre didn’t either but was 100x the basketball player than Ross is
English

@PlayoffKaden @JonRothstein He hurt it last year actually and has been playing through it
English

Well I did drink 25 beers but the only thing I fought were the demons in my head the next morning
Braylon MullHims@BBallCapital
If @mullins_braylon commits today I will drink 25 beers tonight and fight the first non UConn fan I see
English

@MisterHotBalls That’s what people don’t understand. They thought we got lucky we absolutely killed them in the 2nd half. Thought we were the better overall team that entire game
English

Is it bad that I’m lowkey hoping to see a St Johns fan tonight?

English

@strongandjacket I will always say he is a terrific role player and that’s it
English

@BBallCapital Karabrick was a cone who would shoot them out of games regularly. I know he’s a hero of the suburban UConn fans, but it’ll be addition by subtraction, whether y’all admit it or not.
English

Here’s my thing, you are replacing Karaban and Reed with Khamenia and Hines and also have the same 3 guards. Add Landrew and County off the bench and hopefully a back up center. Is that better than last years team? I’m taking Reed and Karaban over the new additions
Andrew S@AndrewSHoops2
Think about UConn’s starting lineup potentially next season: Demary Jr. Khamenia Mullins Ross Hines Reloaded
English

@CannoliesCards You’re right, 3 of the same guards that will be better and a stretch 4 paired with a rim protecting 5. Talking myself into number 7 now actually
English

@BBallCapital Demary 2nd year running the offense. Newton took a huge step in year 2.
Solo injury free.
Mullins in year 2…
Calling it the same 3 guards is a stretch. Bench has more depth also. Ross was hitting new strides and can be an x factor. Landrew has potential.
One backup PG
English

@flognoevili Very excited, I just want another center to back up Hines is all
English

@BBallCapital Year 2 Silas and Mullins and healthy solo plus confident senior j Ross, need more depth obviously but I can see it.
English

@BBallCapital Same 3 guards with one more year of experience is important. Retention matters. And Ross is becoming a piece.
