Well @christinepascal @DrTonyBertram @_CREC that’s been quite a journey! 11 years ago I was a part time Children’s Centre Teacher in recovery from breast cancer - now 12 years clear and leading that very same MA at CREC!

Working through editing and revising my PhD first draft and wondering about the best way to share findings through mainstream publications. Any top tips?

The #EYFS Statutory Framework changes for 2023 came into force this morning. The most significant update is the statutory minimum for the staff:child ratio for 2-year children in nurseries and pre-school. The new ratio required is 1:5 whereas the previous ratio required was 1:4

My PhD looks at the possible impact of covid on children’s social emotional development for self regulation in reception classrooms, findings in this report have parallels and consider parental stress, routines for environmental security to support social emotional development.
CREC@_CREC

New Covid impact research has found that "nearly half of parents reported that their child had more socio-emotional difficulties in February 2021 than a year earlier." You can read the full report here: buff.ly/47gZEvO

PhD update, after a tricky data collection year 21/22 (along with a broken hip 🙄) I can confirm I have themes and I have a chapter structure. This feels a lot like progress 🥳
