The strongest case for Sir Alex Ferguson over Pep Guardiola is actually pretty simple. Football management is more than tactics. Pep may have influenced football more stylistically, but Ferguson mastered every single aspect of management at the highest level for over 25 years. He wasn’t just coaching a team, he was running an empire. What makes Ferguson unique is that he built multiple great teams from scratch and kept winning through entirely different football eras. Most managers have one peak cycle. Ferguson had about four. The early 90s side with Cantona was different from the Treble side. The Treble side was different from the Ronaldo/Rooney era. Then he still won another title in 2013 with a squad that honestly had no business dominating the league the way it did. That level of reinvention over two decades is probably the hardest achievement in football management history. And unlike Pep, Ferguson did not always have the best squad, best structure, or most money. He regularly outperformed stronger teams through mentality, adaptability, and sheer force of leadership. There’s a reason rival fans still talk about “Fergie Time” almost like mythology, his teams psychologically overwhelmed opponents before games even started. Another thing people underrate is how difficult Ferguson’s environment was. The Premier League during his era had constantly changing rivals: Arsenal under Wenger Chelsea under Mourinho with Roman Abramovich’s money Liverpool historically Newcastle’s rise in the 90s Blackburn spending heavily Then later the rise of billionaire-backed clubs Yet Ferguson remained the constant. Pep, meanwhile, has mostly coached elite, ready-made superclubs with extraordinary infrastructure already in place. That’s not his fault, but it matters in historical comparisons. Ferguson turned young players into world stars repeatedly. Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Ronaldo, Rooney different generations entirely. Pep improves elite players, Ferguson often created them. And then there’s the longevity argument, which is massive. Staying at the top for 25+ years in football is nearly impossible now. Dressing rooms change, tactics evolve, player power grows, ownership changes happen, pressure increases. Ferguson survived all of it and still retired as champion. Pep may end up as the greatest tactical coach ever. But Ferguson’s argument is that he was the more complete football manager leader, builder, psychologist, developer, winner, and cultural architect all in one.

Is this really the heresy in question: the emphasis on the word “appearing” instead of “coming”? At least from what I’ve observed as a neutral, the debate seems much closer to a discussion of semantics than a denial of any core Christian doctrine. Unless I’m missing something deeper, the disagreement appears to center on terminology and metaphysics, not on whether Christ will physically manifest. I’ve also noticed several people misrepresenting what the brother actually said yesterday: “They don’t believe Jesus ascended physically.” “They don’t believe Jesus will come back/appear physically.” But those statements are not what is being argued. The real point of contention seems to be whether Christ’s future appearance should necessarily be described as a “coming back” or “returning.” And that question is tied to ideas about distance, dimension, and location: Is Christ presently in a spiritual realm “far away” in the sense that He must return from somewhere else, or is His manifestation better described as an appearing rather than a movement through space? In my humble and limited understanding, I don’t think the distinction is necessary. I personally see no issue with referring to the appearance of Christ as the Second Coming. What troubles me more is that the reaction to this debate seems deeper than the actual point being argued. There appears to be a strong hostility toward the minister in question: accusations of heresy, a lack of charity, and very little brotherly love. It makes me wonder whether there are other underlying issues influencing the response beyond this particular doctrinal disagreement.

@EntinaSamuel @Preacherrapper Ok let’s assume you’re right and they actually meant if “God doesn’t deliver”, which means that they would die… how are they then saying “we will not serve you” when the aftermath of not being delivered is death? Were they talking about not worshipping his gods in their death?

@Preacherrapper By context, you used that passage wrongly and every Bible version disagrees with your stance. Nothing is wrong with me. I'm just really really concerned about you. Don't agree with me, just agree with biblical truth. I actually beg you.

This is where the doctrine of GOD KILLS leads. This is the destination. To acquiesce to faithlessness and FATE. To glorify death and expect it. This is where the ‘Hebrew boys’ theology leads. The syntax ‘if’, which they mean to be ‘if God won’t deliver us’. I have said here that the context of that ‘if’ is ‘if Nebuchadnezzar changes his mind, not if God fails to deliver’. “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” Daniel 3:17-18 KJV If what be so? “Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?” Daniel 3:15 KJV If you don’t worship the image, I will cast you into the fire! The three Hebrew boys were not saying God may save them or not, they already said He will. They were saying if Nebuchadnezzar goes ahead with his threat or not! Meanwhile, JESUS NEVER FAILED TO HEAL ANY ONE WHO ASKED HIM!! “And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.” Luke 6:19 KJV You see this doctrine of FATE? That’s what they are selling on Christian Twitter with all their illiterate ‘isms’. “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24 KJV This is the @SpiricocoNg that maligns Harrison o, a person who needs to be taught. Here saying God never promised that every time we pray for the sick they will be healed? Turn God to an uncertain episode of deity. It may work, it may not work, that’s not faith, that’s FATE! Who then did Jesus fail to heal? Terrible theology!

You can tell he genuinely liked the club and the stadium. Most managers who leave United talk about the pressure and politics. ETH talking about missing Old Trafford specifically feels like he actually connected with the place and the fans, even if results didn't hold up. But no one can say he left empty-handed. For a club that went 6 years without a trophy, winning 2 in 2 years matters. That's his legacy at Old Trafford.

I honestly cannot imagine the number of Nigerian Christians who passionately dislike Pastor Segun Onayinka based mostly on hearsay, clips, assumptions, or secondhand narratives without ever sincerely sitting down to listen to him in context. I still remember being in my room in Kaduna sometime around 2016 when I randomly came across one of his teachings on TV. It was my first time of knowing him and hearing him preach, and my immediate reaction was: “So we still have ministers in Nigeria teaching doctrine this carefully and thoughtfully?” That encounter pushed me to search for more of his messages online, and over the years I have listened to well over a hundred hours of his teachings. Though I have never met him personally, I have observed the fruits of his ministry, the seriousness with which he handles Scripture, and the transformation in many lives through his work. Because of that, it would honestly be very difficult for anyone to genuinely convince me that he is a false teacher or a heretic. Do I agree with him on every single doctrinal issue? No. But I also do not agree with every church father in history, every theologian, every minister, or even every pastor I respect. That is part of growth and theological engagement within the body of Christ. There are foundational doctrines of the Christian faith, and there are secondary or non-essential areas where sincere believers may differ while still remaining brothers and sisters in Christ. Sadly, many believers today are too quick to attach labels like “false teacher” or “heretic” simply because someone differs from them on certain interpretations or emphases. That spirit is unhealthy and deeply divisive. Ironically, if Pastor Segun Onayinka is to be called “false,” then many voices currently occupying Nigerian pulpits, including some younger charismatic and newly emerging reformed voices criticizing him, would also have to be condemned by the same standard. Yet I do not believe that is the right posture. Disagreement should not automatically lead to dishonor. One thing I have consistently observed from Pastor Onayinka’s ministry is a deep respect for Christian leadership, his strong emphasis on honour, a strong commitment to Scripture, and a sincere passion for seeing people brought from darkness into the light of Christ. Those things matter. I believe the body of Christ in Nigeria needs more maturity, more patience, more careful listening, and more humility when engaging doctrinal differences. Especially for many believers who are just beginning to discover sound doctrine, there can sometimes be a temptation to weaponize theology instead of using it to build unity, grace, wisdom, and Christlikeness. God helping us, we can do better as His children. Pastor Segun Onayinka has been a blessing to many people, and on his birthday, I celebrate the grace of God upon his life and ministry. I pray God grants him even more insight, clarity, wisdom, growth, and fullness in Christ unto every good work. #WorldOnayinkaDay

So, just because Michael Carrick is a young, English manager it means it's not the right place to look in a lot of people's eyes." "Michael Carrick is a clever person, he's a really good coach, and I think he can lead the team for however long he wants if he gets it right. It will be an interesting summer. For the first time in a long time Manchester United seem like they have a bit of calmness around the whole place and that's a good thing." (BBC)

No Christian lady should marry you. If she does , she isn’t well taught . You should marry someone with the same views like you . Someone who doesn’t want their kids to step inside a church . That’s the best solution
JOSHUA@JJExclusive1

I can marry a Christian lady but our kids will never step their feet in any church. I can’t afford to see my kids being brought up and Indoctrinated with an obsolete book called “Bible” My kids will learn good morals without Christianity.

Well, the reformed camp/tradition as far as Nigerian Christianity is concerned, is a minority. They aren’t all that. I’m sure the Pentecostal fathers have seen them for years for who they are and have thus, ignored them. Na Twitter make us dey see them sef. 😂
