I genuinely think this is where the honeymoon period finished. Punk is one of the greatest promos ever, but he got obliterated v Kingston, probably lost out to MJF, and when Hangman said something else that hit home, he couldn’t take it anymore
Give him Seth, Roman etc… people who can’t compete with him on the mic, people he can dog walk who won’t upset him

With news of his release by The WWE, I'm not against a Malakai Black return to AEW.
You've been taught your whole life that losing makes you look weak. You need protection. If you lose, you're one step closer to jobber. It's the only way! It's the WWE Blueprint!
Tony Khan changed the game. It's different. You wrestle a lot in AEW. Win or lose. Booking isn't 50/50. Tony wants a finish. His style is against "the rules" that 80 year old men created.
If you can't see wrestling evolving, you think AEW is doing it wrong. Maybe someone that's been to The WWE, like Black and Rusev, doesn't agree with that change. It's wrong. That's all they know.
The machine is crafted to maximize profits. Give the fans nothing, until the Pay Per View, then maybe you can give them nothing again so you can get a rematch. The rules aren't there to protect you or to make the most entertaining show. They're there to make a few extra Bucks.
A Malakai Black with a little mist in the eye should be able to see it now. AEW doesn't do it wrong. AEW does it different. For the love of the game. For the love of the fans. For the love of Professional Wrestling.

Aleister Black didn't wanna take pins in AEW cause he thought he was too good.
He returned to WWE on April 25, 2025. Lost most of his matches. Didn't win a single title. Didn't wrestle on any PLEs.
Today, he got released.
