@theficouple A super hot take here is that getting married is an absolutely massive life hack. Getting married allows you to delete or cut in half a lot of the expenses above. Either you get dual income (which drops each expense in half) or you have free childcare. Marriage is a life hack.

I wish more people understood $4 coffees aren’t the problem. It’s the: - $650/mo car payment - $300/mo credit card bill - $1,800/mo daycare - $800/mo student loans - $2,400/mo rent ...This is why most six-figure earners feel broke.

@Higher_Learning Not sure if you guys are still using this account, but this most recent episode was beautiful until the end got a little out of hand. Rachel was just saying Adin Ross feels empowered because "I have black friends." CC: @VanLathan @TheRachLindsay

@Kazeem All of these reactions are either fake or people still don't know ANYTHING about comics despite 30 years of comic book films. Marvel has had multiple iterations of the same heroes using the same name for over a decade now

@WTOP The funny thing here is that streaming services are increasingly leaning into live events and broadcast-style scheduling. So there may be more incentives "soon" to make the full switch. Let's see how Amazon does with the NBA streaming rights next season.

It was universally popular to cut down on govt waste and bureaucracy. DOGE was controversial, but the goal was generally well received. What’s crazy is that the bureaucracy was able to create valid legal arguments extend its growth in perpetuity. It’s a fucking monstrosity and it’s consuming us all.

@TimothyELewis I also think it would have had more credibility if it focused on actual data rather than PR, which is a criticism I feel is applicable to both the left AND the right when it comes to our system. Regardless of agreement or disagreement, I remain skeptical of early, wide swings.

I think it’s totally fair to object to who is doing it and how. The process would have had more credibility with a bi-partisan approach, but idk if there’s any real appetite for it on the left. Look at how many federal workers were added last admin. What troubles me is how much easier it is to expand bureaucracy than it is to shrink it. I’m of the belief that the hyper-federalization of our country is a dangerous centralization of authority, and that authority increasingly belongs to unelected officials.

@CelticsLead I think he's good but he needs to adjust his offense a bit more. We've seen him get out coached but also seen him persevere. Orlando is a good example of him changing tactics and it working. I think Thibs and Quinn Snyder gave him issues outside of the injuries.

How is it that we almost universally accept that the draft lottery is rigged but remain skeptical that the league skews outcomes elsewhere? The NBA is a racket.

Knicks go up 3-1 on the Celtics, who are on the verge of being gentlemen swept after Tatum’s lower leg injury.
