The Board of Education has voted to require face masks for all teachers, staff, students & visitors (ages 2+) in all SPPS buildings, regardless of a person’s vaccine status. This policy will go into effect today, Wednesday, August 18. Read the full update: bit.ly/3y1v1I4

There's still time for more summer reading in August!!!!

Have you moved or changed child care locations over the summer? Please complete the 2021 Back-to-School iUpdate by Friday, Aug. 20 at spps.org/onestop. If your child rides a school bus, this will help make sure your child has transportation on the first day of school.

Parent/guardians in primary households can now complete the 2021 Back-to-School iUpdate. It's a great way to update contact info. Be sure your address is updated so your child can receive bus transportation on the first day of school. The deadline is 8/20. spps.org/onestop

Check out the 2021-22 school year calendar at spps.org/calendar. The first day of school for grades 1-12 is Thursday, September 9. Students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten start on Monday, September 13.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many children missed the opportunity to have their regular well child exams & immunizations. Please check with your health care provider to make sure your child’s immunizations are up to date before school starts in the fall. spps.org/immunizations
