#WinterConstruction has officially wrapped up!❄️ 🏗️ Over the next couple of weeks, we will showcase some of the work that was accomplished. First up is C. Robert Markham Elementary, where the demolition of the main building is underway to make way for a brand-new facility.

The SMART Bond Program has expanded how students learn in art, music, media, and specialty programs. Renovated art and music rooms come with new instruments, updated storage, refreshed spaces, and improved acoustics. Media centers have been reimagined into modern learning hubs.

Can you spot the SMART improvements? With updated lighting, refreshed flooring, and new classroom technology, this room feels brighter and more inviting. These enhancements are more than cosmetic. A comfortable, modern classroom fosters better learning outcomes.

Student safety matters. The SMART Bond Program has provided Broward County schools with enhanced security features like single-point entries and modern monitoring systems, creating a safer environment. When students feel secure, they can focus better on learning and growing.
