@ASWFCofficial Lewis joined us as a shy teenager but has developed over the past few years working with our juniors and our first team. He contacted our chairman recently to thank him for all the support he'd provided and advised he'd been invited to apply for this post. We wish him well.

⚽️ 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜… Lewis McPartlan joins the Women’s first team as our Strength & Conditioning coach as well as the Open Age Goalkeeper coach. Lewis is a Strength and conditioning graduate and is involved with Blackpool FC’s Academy programme. 🧵

@PeterMcCormack We considered this but we would have needed to deplete the reserve team and ask the majority of their squad to step up 4 divisions which we felt would be too big a leap and unfair on those players.

@BCSCWomen Why don’t you use reserve players to fill the gaps while you look to recruit others?
