let me try being constructive instead of critical: Okay Bears raised $12mm or so dollars, and stabled it at about that price. They could have funded a huge host of community co-creation opportunities, we even approached them over a year ago and offered to setup a custom-branded and whitelabel Align instance for expressly this purpose. They said they were already building something for this, it never materialized to my knowledge. They had dozens of incredibly talented and dedicated holders (Making coffee brands, websites, all sorts of lovely things) that they didn't offer any support to despite having a vast war chest. Like DeGods, the reason I'm so critical of them is because they wasted an incredible community activation point that 99.9% of projects never have the opportunity to even touch. When you have people wanting to build around your brand, something that rarely, if ever happens in web2 without being a multi-billion dollar company: Your only job is to fund those initiatives with your massive war chest and remove roadblocks for the community. Complex IP agreements, licensing, and gating access to these things behind a completely centralized team that will never actually have the time to review and truly empower all of the ideas that are bursting at the seams within the community is a surefire way to kill a brand in Web3. People want to make things, creation is our sole purpose as humans — if you're making arbitrary roadblocks in pursuit of chasing what you used to know a brand to be, what you thought "success" was, based on a shit metric like floor price, you're failing.
