While I agree with your concept in this, the game's TOS would need to be syndicated worldwide and the rules and regulations surrounding the money aspects of the game would need to have such oversight that it becomes the biggest problem of them all. I don't think anyone truly knows what's going to move the needle and the masses into Web3 gaming.

@Hantao The answer is simple. Instead of using web 3 to generate funds to build a game, BUILD A COMPLETED NORMAL GAME FIRST WITHOUT WEB 3 AND THEN ADD WEB 3 TO IT. First to do this will make billions. @RockstarGames are you taking notes?

@Hantao not a big enough hype wave for anything beyond BAYC to go mainstream the right model, the right hype, the viral moment we take over one day

@GamingGridx The idea is laughable that futuristic gaming will not utilize digital currency. We all know the slogan, and there is no doubt. Web3 gaming is inevitable. Lightning in a bottle. Just the right model, the right hype, and everyone jumps on. We're not wrong, we're just early.

Someone needs to come up with a wallet address tool that makes an AI movie about your crypto journey. That would be cool! I'd come back for that. ;)

@TheGodMurdoch @splinterlands was one of the first web 3 games that I found back in '21 and I'm so glad I did. Since then I've played many others, some of which were decent, but Splinterlands is still my favorite and go to. The rush, or not, when opening a pack is unmatched.

Crypto gaming is trapped in a death spiral. Another day, 4 more games in peril or shutting down due to lack of funds. - Pixel Heroes (ded) - 77 bit (ded) - Hytopia (probs ded) - KAP Games (ded) Is there a single crypto game that's profitable right now?

Over the next week, we will be doing a lot of front facing changes as our official launch is coming up. TL:DR We want to better reflect the benefits of how we have incorporated crypto and NFTs rather than using single term like web3 and let our game stand on it's own. ****** WHERE WE STARTED In the past 5 years since the studio opened (Sept 2021) and when we started dev on MAYG (May 2022), we've never raised publicly, never did a paid mint and have been ardent supporters of what we thought was a beautiful innovative vision of gaming + crypto + NFTs. For us that meant solving some real problems in the current gaming industry and taking a shot at solving a sustainable open economy model. We even opened a 9000 sq ft dedicated luxury gaming lounge for MAYG in Bangkok (July 2025) and have set the ground work to expand the IP and brand coverage. Because of the functionality afforded to us because we have build a game fully integrated with crypto + NFTs. WHAT WEB3 GAMING BECAME Unfortunately the web3 gaming industry took a different direction and now 95% of them are MIA and its really pointless for us to be carrying a flag of stupidity and incompetence that we've been contrarian to this entire time. I've personally made some wonderful life long friends during this period, but even with them we rarely saw eye-to-eye. Having called even the closest of them 'gutless wanks, peons and fuckheads' on spaces and posts, I'm sure didn't endear me, but I'm thankful they understood my intentions, if not in agreement with them. But it ain't about the friends we made along the way, it's real life and its about who goes the distance. That's neither here nor there, as most of them have moved on to AI or MacDonalds and I'm not saying this to gloat as there is no one really in the space left (save a few really amazing people like @BuxtonMatthew @iceyyy_gaming and everyone who they are still supporting - wishing you the best of luck). But we decided a couple of years back that our focus would be on a more broader market that was outside of web3 gaming twitter. LEAVING THE BAGGAGE BEHIND I mean, the road ahead is really just getting to the starting line and while I'll never forget the crazy psycho relationship we had with web3 gaming. At a certain point, you gotta let the baggage be and just take what you learned and move on. Just to say on this note: There have been only a handful of web3 gaming projects I've openly supported. Bought their NFTs (never sold them), retweeted and even publicly defended them to give them benefit of the doubt. But even the few I've supported have left me cynical and it's just time to move on with just focusing on what we're doing. I know over the years there were many people in the space who were so disappointed that we hadn't failed yet, or, others still waiting for us to throw in the towel and say we're gonna be a web2 game or some shit like that and fade away. But every moment, every friendship and interaction I had here was because I wanted this space to succeed in spite of itself. People wanted their bag, I get that, and now they've fucked off - showing how relevant they really were, like zero. ENDING OR STARTING ON A HAPPY NOTE For those who have supported us, still after all these years have held our NFTs thank you sincerely🙏. Whether or not you have hope, even given up entirely on this space and after all these years still don't understand what we're doing, it doesn't matter. It's time to show you. We fight for love and love never fails. That's biblical you gutless wanks. 😇😘 A special shout out to @XAI_GAMES and @ArbitrumPlay for all their support though out the years. It was a lot more complicated than even we thought it would be. But we good, we ride.

As part of preparation for our upcoming official launch, we've changed our X handle to @mayg_game as we'd like to reflect our focus on our open economy model and IP. Our position still stands in web3, even if we're one of the last ones standing.🥰 @XAI_GAMES @arbitrum

CBS did a piece on MLB Opening day over reactions. Read up until the verdict. They just won't accept the Brewers as being elite. "The Brewers are still better than the Cubs The Brewers have won the NL Central four of the last five years and five times since the last time the Cubs secured the division in a full season. The Cubs had the lead for most of the first half last season, but a 30-4 surge from the Brewers in July and August meant it was all the Brew Crew again in this division. Heading into 2026, every projection system and many prognosticators, including your CBS Sports experts, have the Cubs winning the Central. Let's check in on their scores against what look to be two of baseball's worst teams this season. Brewers 14, White Sox 2 Nationals 10, Cubs 4 After giving up a leadoff homer, Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski was completely dominant, striking out 11 in his five innings of work. The Brewers' offense drew 10 walks and collected 12 hits, including two homers. Over in Wrigley, Cubs starter Matthew Boyd was pounded for six runs on six hits in 3 ⅔ innings despite the wind screaming in from left field. The runs weren't cheap. The Nats were pounding the ball. Boyd gave up seven hard-hit balls. Overall, the Nationals collected 11 hits and hit three homers, again, in very tough hitter conditions. The Brewers looked dominant and the Cubs got their butts kicked by a bad team. Verdict: No worries here. There are 161 games to go. It's a long season. Remember, the Cubs had a four-game lead after a July 4 win last season and the Brewers won the division by five games. I'll stick with the Cubs as my pick.

The problem with this statement is that it shits on everyone in crypto gaming And while the space has suffered from it's share of grifters and scammers and deserves fair criticism (like all of crypto) There are earnest builders dedicating their lives to creating something meaningful And doing their best to bridge the gap between gaming and blockchain To onboard new people into crypto with great experiences I refuse to give up on the passionate game developers with dreams, courage, and conviction that are weathering the impossible battle of making a hit game on a new technology as hard as blockchain It's easy and in fashion to dunk on crypto gaming but really, it just shows either how uninformed you are or how little care and consideration you have towards people trying their best with good intentions

This might be an unpopular opinion regarding the DK Metcalf incident, but society would be better if people had a healthy fear of getting punched in the face when they act like assholes.
