A TESTIMONY OF GROWTH AND SUCCESS He and his family are dedicated members of Omega Power Ministries (OPM). He is a talented footballer, so I sent him to South Africa to pursue a professional football career and possibly join a good club. Due to the high cost of rent, I spoke to a Bishop friend of mine who accommodated him within the church premises. While searching for a football opportunity, he ventured into real estate (house agent business). Because of his honesty and integrity, many people trusted him to help them secure rental and purchase properties. He later expanded into buying, renovating, and selling houses. Today, God has blessed him: * He has built two storey buildings which are rented out to tenants * He also built his personal home, which includes a swimming pool * He is now happily married and blessed with a beautiful daughter * He has also built a house for his parents in Port Harcourt, Nigeria Earlier this year, when I visited South Africa, even while pursuing his Master’s degree, he sacrificed his time to take me around for shopping in his Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and ensured I had Nigerian food because I do not eat South African meals. I sent him to pursue football, but he became a successful real estate developer. This clearly shows that: Human capacity development is the best investment — not just building structures.

P.N Okeke is one of my biggest inspiration. It’s sad that he hasn’t been given the highest national honour. I will donate his complete books set to every secondary school in the South East to keep in their libraries so students can study his work. He is a genius!

I was 21. NYSC posting: a village clinic in Osun. No light. No water. Just me, a matron in her 60s, and women who walked 3 hours for antenatal. Day 1, a 16 year old girl came in bleeding and pregnant. Her 40-year old husband said, “It’s normal. First baby always hard.” Matron took one look at me and said, “Corper, you go learn today.” We had no ultrasound or blood bank. Just gloves, faith, and a torchlight I held with my mouth while Matron’s hands disappeared inside that child. For 6 hours we fought. The girl was slipping. Matron prayed in Igala and English. I cried, thinking, “This is why I wanted to japa.” 😂 Then the baby’s cry came; a small, angry boy, alive. The 14-year-old whispered, “Aunty, thank you for not running.” 😭 Covered in blood and sweat, Matron said: “You think this work na for money? This work na for the girls who don’t know their own worth yet. You stay. You fight. You stubborn. Because if we no stubborn, who go be stubborn for them?” That was 5 years ago. Today I’m a doctor in Lagos with a clinic in Abule Egba. Every girl who comes in with “normal period pain” that’s been killing her for years reminds me of that torchlight and Matron’s hands. I get stubborn. I’ve diagnosed 47 cases of advanced PID this year, done 12 fibroid surgeries, and caught 3 girls early before their wombs got damaged. Ladies, my message is simple: 1. “Normal” pain that stops your school, work, or life? It’s NOT normal. 2. Your body is not “village people.” It’s biology. Test it. Scan it. Know it. 3. Be stubborn about your health. The world will call you dramatic. Be dramatic and alive. That matron died 2 years ago, but her stubbornness lives in every girl I refuse to let die quietly.

The least corrupt people in public service are politicians. You see those directors, MD’s and secretaries of federal or state institutions, most of them are extremely corrupt and wicked. They are like deities. They have spent over 25 years there and understands the system so well. They teach corrupt politicians how to steal successfully.

I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life. God gave me more than I prayed for a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own 👑👑👑 My world. My responsibility. My legacy. Alhamdulilah! ✨

APC reps were passing a bill, no soft copies, no hard copies, only 2 copies, one with Kalu and the other with the APC rep. An amendment to the ELECTORAL ACT! And there was not even a single copy? Thank God for Honorable Dasuki.

I have been a loyal customer of @GiGLogistics and this is the first time I have had an issue with them. I expected it to be handled with urgency. Instead it has been 50 days of silence, delays, and empty apologies. In March 2026, they delivered our custom-built office PC from Lagos to Gombe with the tempered glass panel completely shattered and glass fragments scattered all over the motherboard, GPU, RAM, and other internal components. The packaging had no foam, no crating, and no fragile markings whatsoever. I reported it at their Gombe office within the same hour of collection. I have full unboxing video evidence. I filed a formal complaint. I provided every document requested by their team and their insurer including a repair receipt. I had to disassemble an expensive brand new custom-built PC component by component just to remove the glass fragments and prevent further damage. 50 days later, GIG Logistics has still not paid my claim of N115,000. They made me incur the loss and have failed woefully to make it right. Shipment 1014022013. @GiGLogistics , when are you paying? Videos In the comments

I think ‘’Iya yin’’ is a versatile Yoruba phrase. When it is used normally, it means ‘’your mother’’ -You can use it to describe yourself while talking about your achievements, especially to brag. E.g Iya yin ti blow o. -Used to insult people’s mothers with 5 or 10 fingers facing the receiver. E.g Iya yin ✋🏽 ✋🏽 - Used by a woman to describe herself while mentioning that a man wants her. E.g Bobo yen fe fe iya yin. - Used as an expression to mean you don’t really care . E.g I will say my mind. Iya yin.

I went to make a transfer today like I normally do, but the POS guy refused. He said he no longer accepts transfers. I was surprised because just last week he collected transfer from me without any issue. So I asked him what changed so suddenly. He sighed and told me what happened. He said someone came to withdraw cash through transfer and the person claims to do Pos too. The person transferred 850k, and he gave the cash, The same person then went to his brother’s own POS spot and did another 250k transfer, collected cash there too. Later, the person went back to the bank and reported both transactions as fraudulent. Now the bank has frozen his account and his brother’s account while they investigate. Two innocent people are now struggling, looking for receipts and proof to show it was a genuine transaction. He said, “For now, no more transfers.” Honestly, I couldn’t even argue. Imagine helping someone in good faith, only for them to use that same help against you. This is why most people no longer help.

My friend Femi called me at 2am from Winnipeg and said he could not feel his feet. Not physically. He was standing in his kitchen. He could see his feet. He could wiggle his toes. But the feeling he meant was different. The feeling he meant was the one that makes getting out of bed worth doing. The one that makes food taste like something. The one that makes a person believe tomorrow is a promise and not a threat. Femi had been a software engineer for 6 years. He worked remotely. Good salary. Good apartment. Good life on paper. On paper he was fine. Inside he was a house with all the lights off. I told him to stay on the phone. I told him to sit down. I asked if he had eaten. He said he couldn't remember. I asked if he had slept. He said sleep was just closing his eyes and waiting for the alarm to reduce the suffering. I asked if he had thought about hurting himself. He was quiet for too long. I did not give him advice. I did not tell him to pray about it. I did not tell him to exercise more or drink more water or think positive. I told him I was booking a flight. He said I was crazy. I said I was coming anyway. Winnipeg in November is not a city. It is a punishment for people who underestimated winter. The cold was a thing with teeth. Femi picked me up at the airport. He looked thinner. Smaller. Like the geography of his body had been redrawn by sadness. We did not talk about his feelings. We did not talk about his depression. We ate pounded yam at a Nigerian restaurant near Portage Avenue. We played FIFA and argued about Arsenal. We sat in his living room and watched the snow fall and said nothing for hours. The silence was not empty. The silence was the medicine. I helped him find a therapist. A Black woman from Ghana who understood that mental health was not a white people invention. She understood the weight of being the first generation to succeed and the last generation to remember poverty. She understood that depression could wear a dashiki and go to church and still destroy you from the inside. Femi still lives in Winnipeg. He still sees the therapist. He still calls me at 2am sometimes but now the calls are different. Now he tells me about a date he went on. A project he is building. A joke he heard that made him laugh until his stomach hurt. The last call was 3 months ago. He said he felt his feet again. He said they were cold because Winnipeg is still Winnipeg. But he felt them. Your brain can get sick too. Don't fight it alone.

“Justice Crack has been missing for the past 24 hours. Not so long ago, he drew Nigerians’ attention to the welfare of Nigerian soldiers at the forefront on how they feed. Since yesterday, his number has not been connecting. We thought maybe because of the recent video he made, the Army might be involved, but we reached out and they claim they don’t know his whereabouts.” — Mr. Commonsense reveals as he calls on Nigerians over missing of justice Crack

EFFURUN SHOOTING: POLICE ASSURE JUSTICE AS OFFICER FACES DISCIPLINARY ACTION The Nigeria Police Force condemns the fatal shooting of a suspect, Mene Ogidi, which occurred on 26th April 2026 in Effurun, Delta State. Preliminary reports indicate that operatives attached to the Effurun Area Command responded to credible information from Benin Motor Park along the Warri–Sapele Expressway regarding a suspect apprehended by members of a transport union while attempting to waybill a parcel containing a Beretta pistol with four rounds of ammunition. While efforts were being made to take the suspect into lawful custody, the team leader, ASP Nuhu Usman, discharged his firearm in clear violation of extant regulations, resulting in the death of the suspect. The leadership of the Nigeria Police Force has directed the immediate transfer of the officer and his team to Force Headquarters, Abuja, where they would face the Force Disciplinary Committee for summary disciplinary measures and prosecution. The Inspector-General of Police extends his condolences to the family of the deceased and assures them that justice will be served in accordance with the law. He further urges members of the public to remain calm and law-abiding as the disciplinary and legal processes take their course. The Nigeria Police Force maintains a zero-tolerance stance on extra-judicial actions, abuse of authority, and any conduct that undermines public trust.
