@ronrule Maybe if you homeschool your kids, you should be held personally & financially responsible for any mistakes they make in areas which are typically covered in public schools, including socialization skills.

@longUSAinvestor @JeffStorobinsky He was 99% accurate, so no worries.

Prior to the 800 pm deadline tonight Trump will falsely claim that Iran has agreed to something that they have not. He will then say we're extending the deadline by 2 weeks
Iran will then issue a statement claiming they have agreed to nothing
It has become quite obvious that there will be no resolution in 2 weeks or even two months
Fuel prices will continue to rise fueling inflation

@AJREALZ42O @venom1s @Obsidianyogi If I were to be a sex object, I'd want it to be on my terms, too.
English

@BCipnic @venom1s @Obsidianyogi Not feminism, the sexual revolution is the effect. Feminism started with women wanting equality for not just themselves, but for all. Then it boiled over to this bullshit of women treating themselves as sex objects for men calling it empowerment. Calling prostitution “sex work”

Even on beaches, men mostly wear shorts.
While women wear the smallest bikinis they can find.
Look at any sport. Men's clothing is designed to be functional, modest, and to cover the body, while women's is often made to reveal more.
Why is that?
I can name at least ten sports where there is no difference in how men and women play, yet women are still expected to wear more revealing outfits.
Feminism has conditioned women to believe that the more skin they show, the more empowered they are.
At the same time, they complain about not having the freedom to wear what they want.
Men dress modestly in colleges and at events too, while women are pushed to show as much of their body as possible.
Is showing your body really the measure of empowerment?

@elonmusk Somehow seeing the words "Elon Musk Not Who you Want in Charge of Superintelligence" strung together seems so right.

@isaiah_bb That's NOT what this chart indicates, though.
This is basically an incest graphic, LOL.
At least they're keeping Kevin Sorbo in the reposting loop.

I am not sure I believe that "Catturd" is four and a half times as popular as former president Barack Obama.
Nate Silver@NateSilver538
These are the Twitter/X accounts with the most engagement so far in 2026. I suppose I had some intuition for how bad it was, but jeez, this is what you get when the ecosystem is broken.
English

@venom1s @Obsidianyogi You sure it wasn't the typical male response giving them the idea that nudity gives them some empowerment over us in at least one area ?
If only men had averted their eyes in disgust.
But we rarely do ...
"Feminism" is the effect, not the cause, perhaps.
English

@Obsidianyogi Exactly, and feminism made women think that showing their bodies to random men and sexualizing themselves is empowering.
English

@hijackedsociety @EricLDaugh Sure.
But that's not exactly a "what would I do" response.
I am sure literally millions of Americans (still maybe less than 1%) would be willing to make such a futile stand. Can't say I'd be among them, but don't assume they're ALL being forced.
English

How has every war in the history of man ended. When out manevered one side surrenders hoping for the least casualties. Intelligent people unless with little regard for its people would not command their people to form a circle around bomb sites.Intelligent people would realize its time to surrender.

@naomirwolf Anyway ... sun over our right shoulder, the night side of Earth at our backs (approximately, since it's not 'full') ?
English

‘Call me ill-informed, I was an English major, but - what is the light source here?’ I reposted my question. Lots of people are having a good laugh, and you are welcome to, but I am not ashamed to ask very basic questions about fields not my own, of other people online; and I prefer to have human conversations with knowledgeable people rather than ask AI or Google websites as a first resort. I put this question badly in haste I concede but I meant: please explain where the astronauts are in space in relation to this image, where is the sun in relation to this image, where is the earth in relation to this image, what time of day or night it is on earth in relation to this image, and what is the relationship of our day or night on earth to this light on the far side of the moon. Curiosity isn’t always well put and wasn’t in this case but I think it’s always a useful quality.

@WassonWatch #1 is a knock on COMMUNISM. Socialism does NOT exclude private property ownership.
#2 it also, however shows Christ feeding a bunch of strangers simply because he can create enough food to do so.
#3 Christianity is pretty authoritarian itself, no ?
English
ThatPicnicGuy retweetledi

Christianity is not socialism at its core, and the suggestion that it is socialism is wildly offensive.
1. God specifically endorses individual property rights throughout both the New and Old Testaments.
2. When Christians share their money and belongings in the New Testament, it is descriptive (not prescriptive) and the sharing is voluntary (not compulsory) between individuals. It is not an explicit or implicit endorsement of a system of government.
3. The root origin of the idea of socialism is from godless, authoritarian, humanism. It's water from a poison well.
Don't ever say that the Bible endorses socialism.
It doesn't.

Tucker’s latest guest: “Capitalism shouldn’t be anywhere near Christianity. Christianity is socialism at its core.” Tucker agrees

@hijackedsociety @EricLDaugh If for some reason WE were in their spot, badly outgunned, and the threat was to destroy OUR power plants or surrender, and it's YOUR call - what would you advise Americans to do ?
Hunker down and hope for the best ?
Wave the white flag ?
English

The regime has brainwashed a good portion of the population to support them. This allows them to use people as human shields. Death means nothing as their belief is it is a reward. The regime is desperate so it has moved to emotional warfare. What better way to evoke distain against Trump and Israel than to ensure civilians are killed. The people in the regime have evil that resides within them. They don't care about their people. They only care about their power over them. It is the true face of radical Islam. They are losing on all fronts. Militarily and the Persian people within are starting to rise. Desperate times for the IRGC.
English

@EricLDaugh I'm not sure a few million Americans WOULDN'T volunteer to human shield their nation's infrastructure as a last resort if the situation were reversed.
English

@MegaBaumTV @Nina7Infinity @JeremyDBoreing Not in a literal sense as a nation, but as an individual who is currently in a chat on X ?
Probably so.
I, too, expect nothing 'civilization ending' to happen. Doesn't mean SOMETHING won't.
And "nuke" might be a synonym for "bomb the hell out of", not an actual A-bomb.
English

Donald Trump has been a national politician for a decade. Anyone still reacting to the guy’s negotiating tactics and hyperbole with this sort of hysteria ten years in should be disqualified from political commentary.
If he nukes Tehran at 8pm, I’ll admit I’m the crazy one.
When he doesn’t, this crew will admit nothing and find some other comment to be scandalized by.
Bo Winegard@EPoe187
Ok this is legitimately a threat to annihilate an entire people, an obvious and grotesque war crime. There is absolutely no defense of this and it should lead to immediate impeachment and removal.
English

@MithJt698 @Rohanburdened He didn't claim otherwise ... he just said a fear of a tortuous afterlife at God's hands is NOT what dissuades him.
'Do unto others ...' seems like a logic-based approach. And since I don't want to BE raped, I don't do any raping.
English

@Rohanburdened All of western morality comes from Christianity, this fаggоt can be as edgy as he wants, his morals were still shaped by Christianity. Unless you actually go out and do the opposite of what Christian morality dictates you do, you're following Christian morality.
English

@Rohanburdened I also murder as much I'd like, along with the raping. Oh, and robbery ... get my fill of each of them before I even get out of bed each day.
English

@Nina7Infinity @JeremyDBoreing What ? Jeremy should call Trump right now and give him a firm talking to ? We're all spectators at this point, commenting is all we have left.
English

@JeremyDBoreing "If he nukes Tehran at 8pm, I’ll admit I’m the crazy one."
Aww jeez. Thanks for that? After the dude blows up a whole civilization you're willing to take a step back and self reflect. How fucking nice of you.
English

@ChristinaPushaw @OceansAndLands Do they push the agenda, or simply push acceptance of those who embrace it ? Not the same stance, really.
English

lol, honestly I think they have a great life including their dog. My problem with them is that they’re pushing an agenda that’s the opposite of what they’re doing for themselves, and they’re influencing too many Americans to reject traditional values and live their lives in a less fulfilling way that the Newsoms would never.
English

What I find interesting about the Newsoms is that they both relentlessly promote liberal/left ideologies that are corrosive to family formation and undermine traditional values. However, at the same time, they've been in a heterosexual marriage for 20+ years and have 4 children together. By those measures, they are more "trad" in terms of their own lifestyle than most Americans are, even a lot of conservatives aren't married with 4 kids.
So what that tells me is the Newsoms KNOW that the traditional family model is the best; that's why they chose it when they both could've chosen anything else. But as elites they still promote insidious ideologies that end up harming the ordinary people who listen to them. It's a perfect illustration of "luxury beliefs."

English

@ChristinaPushaw The thing is that America isn't about forcing people to do what's best, it's about letting them do what they want (basically), as long as nobody ELSE gets harmed.
Liberals understand THAT part better than Conservatives.
