I'm not saying it's "better" or even that I think it would be sustainable over a full season. But I do personally find the post-deadline Flames a lot more fun to watch than the pre-deadline team.

Othmann was the 16th overall pick in 2021 He has only put up 3 points in 42 NHL games. Othmann profiles as a bottom six winger who can check, skate, and play on the PK This is one of those players who might break out when put in a new situation. We'll see if that happens or not
