@Marie_LSJ @bodleianlibs @iiif_io For further advice on getting started with hosting an image collection, the best place is probably the IIIF community, which has a mailing list and a Slack: iiif.io/community/

@Marie_LSJ @bodleianlibs @iiif_io The IIIF GitHub pages list some image server options (#image-servers" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/IIIF/awesome-i…), and some of the “exhibition” packages include options for directly hosting images (#exhibition-and-guided-viewing-tools" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/IIIF/awesome-i…). There are also some commercial providers. /2

I'm currently at the ECR Workshop Day which precedes this conference advertised below. @maidmarianne is introducing us to #digitalstorytelling and @iiif_io. I find it interesting how #digitalhumanities and #datajournalism are working in silos on the same communication issues.

Ths #ARCHiOx project is running all this year, and copperplates are just the start. Portraits, Japanese Ukiyoe prints and palm-leaf manuscripts are all being looked at by the team (so keep your eyes peeled for more posts).
