I’ve gotta tell y’all, the championship format change has really helped me fall back in love with NASCAR this year. I didn’t even realize how much of an impact it would make. But it feels like the series I obsessed over in my youth again from a storytelling perspective. Love it.

Case has officially settled. The jury has been dismissed. Judge said he feels like the settlement is good for NASCAR the entity and NASCAR. the industry and ultimately the fans.

And in that playoff game (4th coldest game in NFL history), he was playing without a healthy Mostert & Waddle, with 3 backups on the O-line, a defense missing it’s edge rushers, ILBer, CB and S, and on a field you could only throw the ball in one direction.

@bcschneider53 is that we need all 36 races to matter. Well IMO they do. We don't crown the baseball champion after 162 games, or hockey after 82. Yes sometimes the best team has the best season and doesn't win. Does that mean who won is a asterisk champion? They don't tell the teams with

We’ve seen multiple polls by, @markmartin, @jeff_gluck and now 🍝. The results are the same across the board, full season points. Hell, they were the same in 2003 when polls were put out, so why are they continuing to ignore the fans and staying with the playoff format? #NASCAR

@rose_tarrance The same thing as the first 17 games in an nfl season, the same for the first 162 in baseball, the same for the first 82 in basketball. Seeding. They all matter. Unlike if in a 36 race one someone ties it up in 34 weeks, then the last 2 dont matter at all.
