I’m old enough to remember when politicians were smeared for spying *against* us.

No one puts the #BeerFags+Chips case for Brexit more eloquently than Tim Martin. His case for #NoDeal on #BBCQT is (dangerously) compelling, populist pubchat nonsense - the sort of pub politics that should stay in the pub: based on deep ignorance of how a complex economy works:

@michaelgove But the customs union is NOT protectionist. It’s one of the most open trading areas in the world. Unless you mean having no tariffs on anything from anywhere i.e. not taking control, but losing control, over your trade policy.
