Bard Early College of New Orleans

This Thursday, Feb 6th, we're hosting Family Night at BECNO! Come learn about the program, see the school, and share your thoughts with us! Oh, and there's dinner :) 5:30-7PM at 3820 St Claude Ave.

Our brand-new Astrobiology course is a big hit this Spring semester- students get to learn about the conditions needed for life on earth, and in the stars.

This spring, we've got a cool new Intro to Comms class that's focusing on integrated communication skills for academia, the work place, and personal relationships. Changing the world, one conversation at a time!

Bard students in the Climate Sustainability class took a trip to the lower 9th to tour some of the important work our community is doing to create sustainable futures!

Shoutout to Chace Johnson, one of our amazing first year students, coming to us from FDHS! So proud of all he's accomplished so far, and can't wait to see where he goes in the future!

This spring, our students are reading three amazing books as part of our new seminar course: What is Identity? We'll keep y'all posted as these brilliant young minds tackle this big question!
