If you need some help on battling adversity, you should give this a listen! Here’s a Post-camp message on battling adversity over the next few months at college camps and beyond. It’s easy to lead and perform when it’s sunny and 75. But who’s going to show up after a few missed kicks? Are you going to throw the day away after a mistake or two, or are you going to fight? Are you going to grind and get the day back on track? I challenged my guys to dare to be great by not quitting and by fighting back. Greatness is inside everyone, but are you willing to dig deep enough to find it? #TLK #BeAPro #fyp #mentality #specialists

There are a lot of you right now stuck in the comparison game. Maybe you’re a free agent comparing yourself to a guy who just got signed. Maybe you’re a high school kid heading to college without the offers you thought you’d have, looking at someone who has the opportunity you want. I’ll tell you this… comparison is the thief of joy. Don’t play those games in your head thinking you’d feel different if you had X, Y, and Z. Truth is, you probably wouldn’t. Run your race. Give it everything you’ve got every day. Control what you can control. Stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. Be the best version of yourself every single day. Good things come from that. This is coming from a guy who’s been in your shoes. For anyone out there battling I hope this helps, you! #BeAPro #TLK #TrustTheProcess #StackDays #Mindset

Every HS kid I ask “wants to play” in college. But so many don’t want: 20 hours of practice/weights 20 hours of class/study hall 0 hours of “social life” Some weeks: 6-7 days a week. 6am starts. 10pm ends. Sooo...Do you REALLY want it?

So good to see the strong opposition to this new rule which was passed impulsively! In the past, we have formed a subcommittee of experienced coaches to discuss the potential consequences of major changes to special teams. @WeAreAFCA @FootballScoop

A survey conducted by Division I football special teams and head coaches showed a 61-1 vote who opposed the NCAA rule change on punts. usatoday.com/story/sports/n…

Guess the @NCAA wants to take away the fun and creativity of the game on Special Teams. Special Teams Coordinators and Head Coaches spend diligent time understanding the rules. Why eliminate this part of the game? Doesn’t the NCAA have bigger problems to solve currently like NIL and transfer portal? When you have a 61-1 vote against the new rule listen to the coaches who coach the game. The same coaches that warned you about NIL and transfer portal.

When you talk to the AD in the locker room after a LAX game and he leaves the lights on for 30 mins for you. Working on consistency 🏈🏈🏟️
