@DontPanicBurns @sanneh_si Yeah but imagine how many kids don’t go to the doctor in the US to talk how their school mates are bullying them because it is expensive and etc. I’m not an American, but I know a health system that doesn’t allow easy access on the primary attention sector isn’t effective.
English

@BEyesCrypto @sanneh_si Suicide is 2x more common than murder in us. Health is health, I think people should be as comfortable discussing their diabetes or high cholesterol as their schizophrenia or depression. Access to care is critical.

@DontPanicBurns @sanneh_si What I meant was: if someone with diabetes can’t have an easy access to medical care and only go to a doc when in critical stage, he’s the only who gets hurt. A person with mental illness in critical stage may take her own life only, but in many cases hurt other people as well.
English

@BEyesCrypto @sanneh_si Many chemical imbalances are physical. No one is stigmatized for diabetes, it can be controlled well with medication. Depression can be controlled with medication, but it is very often not discussed because of the stigma
English

@sanneh_si @DontPanicBurns But that’s when we’re dealing with physical deseases. If it’s a mental health issue the person in question will just “explode”. There is bullying everywhere, but here in Brazil, for example, children can access health care on the onset of the first symptoms of mental illness.

@sanneh_si @DontPanicBurns I tend to agree with him on this one, Sanneh. Of course if there was no guns there wasn’t gonna be massive shootings but the USA need another format of health care. When it’s that expensive and hard to see a doctor, you tend to only seek help when you’re on critical stage.

@BullyEsq people mentally disturbed + no easy access health system + big availability of guns
that's the combination that leads to all these massive shootings
