Baxter passed on this afternoon at age 16. He fought canine cognitive disorder for a couple of years, but the dementia took a toll. It was time. His passing was beautiful and peaceful. I will miss him forever.

Today is the one month anniversary of Baxter's passing. Was feeling a little weepy and then my beloved beagle family surprised me with this beautiful portrait. It's perfect in so many ways, but especially as the pic was taken at our happy place, Leo Carrillo State Beach.
