-Missouri pitching provided free passes on the basepaths with 8 BBs which, once again, set the Lions up to pull away. -Simply put, Mizzou played bad baseball tonight. The Tigers have an opportunity to clean it up back at Taylor Stadium this weekend against Texas A&M.

-Defensively, Missouri surrendered nine stolen bases that set Lindenwood up with runners in scoring position. The Lions knew they had to manufacture runs and they did so without much resistance this evening.

Takeaways from Mizzou's 10-4 upset loss at Lindenwood: -The Tigers struggled from top to bottom. As much as last night's win was a team victory, today's was a team loss. Lindenwood's first ever win against Missouri was kickstarted via free passes and lack of offensive execution.

Takeaways from Mizzou’s 5-1 Braggin’ Rights victory over Illinois: -Tiger pitching was CLUTCH today. Green worked out of a bases loaded with no outs scenario in the 1st which kickstarted a run of great situational pitching as Illinois stranded 12 runners on base. #MizzouNOW

-Great turnaround in the midweek, nothing perfect, but the Tigers are growing as a team as they address issues that have arisen in SEC play. No better way to improve as a club than to keep playing baseball.

-Following Green’s 3 scoreless innings, Mizzou saw great relief appearances from Gonzalez, Drew, Skidmore, and Rosand. Great use of the bullpen today, as despite offensive inconsistencies, Illinois could never rally back.

#Mizzou ⚾️ Freebie War, 3/22/2026 The Freebie War tracks "free" passes (i.e. events that could have been prevented). Result: Mizzou won the Freebie War, but lost the game Conclusion: Tennessee outplayed us #MizzouNOW

-Kehlenbrink continues to flourish, striking out 9 through 6 IP. Despite a Tennessee rally in the 4th, he returned to the mound and shut down the Vols in the 5th and 6th innings.

-Seals with another HR on the weekend, and just like last season, Pierre is swinging the bat well in SEC play.

Takeaways from Mizzou’s 7-1 loss at Tennessee: -Offensive inconsistencies continue through the series finale. Mizzou could never get to the Tennessee starter Blanco, managing just 4 hits on the afternoon. #MizzouNOW

-Offense quickly tallied 6 hits off the starter and forced the Vols to go to the bullpen with bases loaded, no outs in the 5th. However, only 2 hits were knocked across the final 5 innings of play. Appenzeller absolutely killed our momentum (credit where credit is due).

-Josh McDevitt wasn't quite his prime self tonight, but still turned in a solid performance across 5.2 innings. -"The General" Eli Skidmore does it AGAIN; enters and gets the Tigers out of another bases loaded jam. Only faced 8 batters across 2.1 innings of work out of the 'pen.

Takeaways from Mizzou's 4-2 loss to Tennessee: -Offensive Ks rear their ugly head. 12 total strikeouts with 7 caught looking. Hard to score consistently with the bat on your shoulder. -Plenty of opportunities to score, but 10 runners ended up being left stranded. #MizzouNOW
