Penta-Bowling Green High School FFA

Just over 1200 FFA Members earned their State FFA Degree today and these guys were two of them! Less than 4% of Ohio FFA Members earn this degree. Requirements include excellence in their SAE projects, FFA involvement and community service. Congratulations Casey and Gavin!

Day 2!

Fun first day at State Convention!

We are so proud of Gavin Roessner for taking the opportunity to run for a State FFA Office. He was one of 62 talented Ohio FFA members vying for 12 spots. While he didn’t make the final ballot, we know he will continue to be a leader in the Ag industry in the future! Great job!

Bowling Green FFA celebrated another successful year at the annual banquet April 11. Congratulations to all of our award winners and thanks to all of our members, parents and supporters for attending!

Congratulations to our Ag Mechanics team of Tyler Schwind, Konner Chambers and Quentin Foos for placing 15th in the state! The had to demonstrate 10 different skills including welding, tap and dye, precision measuring, soldering, identification and schematics. Congratulations!

Today, our members competed in the District 1 Spring CDEs. We had agronomy, general livestock, equine, poultry, wildlife and nature interpretation teams.

It was a good day to be a Bobcat! Students stood for 4 hours to celebrate 6 months of planning and fundraising for Nationwide Children’s Hospital-Toledo at our Bobcat-A-Thon event. And what makes this year even more special-we passed $100,000 raised since 2004! #bobcatproud

The team placed 9th in the state! Congratulations!!

Good luck to our Food Science Team today as they compete at the state contest! They are one of the top 20 teams and qualified out of over 1000 individuals to get to Columbus! We are missing our 5th member Grace today as she competes at regional cheerleading!

Congratulations to our Gold Rated officers! Isabella (Secretary), Kelsey (Reporter), and Grace (Treasurer) all received GOLD 🌟 ratings on their books. Grace also placed 🥉in the district! Great job ladies!

Join the FFA tonight at the Boy's Basketball Games for a bake sale, 50/50, and other activities to raise funds for the Nationwide Children's Hospital-Toledo. Bring a few extra dollars to support a great cause!

This group of FFA Members got to enjoy their reward for selling $1000 worth of fruit during our annual sale with a lunch at Beckett's. We appreciate their hardwork and commitment to FFA!

Congrats to our public speakers! They competed in the county contest on Wed. Kate placed 3rd in the creed contest, Hayley placed 5th in beginning prepared, Aidan was 2nd in advanced prepared and Emma was 4th in extemporaneous. Aidan qualified to move onto districts on 2/3!
